Grieving Mom Writing Brittany Murphy Tell

The grief-stricken mother of tragic actress Brittany Murphy is penning a tell-all book about her daughter’s life 11 months after the star died suddenly in her Hollywood bathroom.

The Clueless actress, who would have turned 33 this week, died last December from pneumonia. Once a formidable box office draw, Brittany saw her star fade in the years leading up to her death as she battled rumors of drug addiction, a controlling marriage, and an eating disorder. Now her mom Sharon wants to honor the starlet’s memory and that of her husband Simon Monjack — who died five months later also from pneumonia — by writing putting her daughter’s life story down on paper.
