Singer Chris Brown put his recent Twitter troubles behind him as he performed on NBC's 'Today' at Rockefeller Center in New York City.
Chris was forced to contact singer Cher (not Cher Lloyd the original one) after she was sent an abusive message from a fake Twitter account pretending to be him.
The fake Tweet read: "That damn GRANNY bitch CHER needs to keep her mouth SHUTTTT about her opinion against obama !!! smh she needs a beating (sic)."
To be honest we probably would have just assumed it was him writing it, as did legions of Cher's loyal fans who bombarded Chris with messages slagging him off.
One follower asked Cher: "Cher, how do you feel about Chris Brown saying he was gonna hit you."
She replied: "I don't know. Is that something he's particularly good at?"
Oooo Chris Brown got dissed by Cher, we love it.
At this point the real Chris Brown stepped in and tweeted Cher: "@cher if this is your real twitter I would like to say that some of ur fans like @cherarmy1 are spreading false accusations.
"I have the utmost respect for u as an artist! @cher. Just to clear this up."
Cher then replied: "Thanks Chris,Appreciate The Sentiment! As artist I'm Always Impressed by u!No war!no throw 'n Shade!Just peace Goin C Pres.2morrow,Am excited (sic)."
She managed to back track quickly, didn't she? We like the fact she says that as an 'artist' she's impressed by him, we're guessing like most of us she's not impressed with much else about him.
